HOMOSUPERIORR
Homosuperiorr is a visual artist originally from Miami, Florida. Drawing from their multiracial, queer, and gender fluid experiences, their work deconstructs identity and history through various mediums, especially collage and video. In 2015, they graduated from Florida State University with BAs in Creative Writing and in Humanities. They were a 2018 — 2019 Borscht Corp Film Fellow, and their work has shown in locations such as Thomas Van Dyke Gallery, Mana Contemporary, and Edge Zones Gallery. In 2020, they co-founded ‘Witchess!,’ a queer BIPOC led art collective. Their current project, ‘Gaybombb!’, is an alternate history series depicting the formation and persecution of queer identities in America following World War II. Homosuperiorr currently lives and work in Brooklyn, New York.
